A Maternity store was sued for pregnancy discrimination. The store allegedly refused to hire pregnant applicants.
The largest part of the settlement goes to the former assistant manager, LaShonda Burns. According to the suit, Burns noticed a pattern of discrimination in October 2003 and complained. She was fired in August 2004 after her boss told her that she believed Burns was pregnant. She wasn’t.
Despite all the backlash and criticism she has received, Madonna supports adoption from other countries. Madonna is currently in the process of adopting her one year-old son from Malawi.  On the Regis and Kelly show Madonna remarked how her adopted son had some of the same facial features as her biological son with Guy Ritchie.
Malawi had no clear cut adoption laws.
“We were basically creating the laws as we went,” Madonna told TV host David Letterman on his CBS network “Late Show.”

According to People.com Brad Pitt has said he would like to have more children.  Pitt and Angelina did not say when the would have more children. Jolie and Pitt share two adopted children and one biological child.
Due to doctor’s orders Marcia Cross has been placed on bed rest.  Marcia portrays Bree Van de Kamp on the hit show “Desperate Housewives.”  To finish taping the episodes that Bree appears in the folks from “Desperate Housewives” have begun transforming Marcia’s home into Bree’s make believe home.  Marcia is due to deliver her twins this April.
Brooke Burke has welcomed a baby girl, Heaven Rain Charvet. Brooke has two daughters from a previous marriage. Heaven was born Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in Los Angeles. Brooke has been hosting the reality show Rock Star:Supernova.
Gina Torres and her husband Laurence Fishburne are expecting a baby this summer. The couple were married in 2002. Laurence Fishburne has two older children from his previous marriage. His film credits include “Akeelah and the Bee”, “What’s Love got to do with It”, and “Boyz n the Hood”. Torres has appeared in the “Alias”, “Angel” “24″ and “Standoff.”
Marcia Cross, who is expecting twins with husband Tom Mahoney in April, has been ordered to rest in bed, her publicist said Wednesday.
